This project takes a comprehensive approach to moving media narratives beyond paralyzing depictions of violence and trauma, and towards solutions-oriented organizations and individuals. By amplifying the voices of Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders and platforming their shared goals, this program will increase the public visibility of civil society peacebuilding efforts. ALLMEP will combine the power of podcasts, film, and social media to support informed perspectives on the conflict.
We recognize the need for accurate reporting and diverse perspectives on Israel and Palestine, countering dehumanizing narratives in the media. ALLMEP aims to address misinformation, contested history, and polarization by highlighting the work of Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders, offering hopeful stories and actionable steps toward resolution. We integrate civil society into discussions through targeted outreach to journalists, shaping how Israel-Palestine is reported & understood globally.
This project aims to disrupt a news cycle marked by hopelessness and despair. It offers audiences causes they can engage with, stories that highlight shared humanity, and actionable steps toward resolving one of the world's most intractable conflicts. Our Groundwork podcast focuses on peace activists' responses to the ever-shifting realities on the ground, our educational film features women peacebuilders, and our social media strategy focuses on peacebuilding and public education.
ALLMEP seeks to mainstream its theory of change, ensuring civil society peacebuilding is central to how journalists and thought leaders discuss Israel and Palestine and strategize policy approaches to the region. These initiatives will ensure that our efforts persist, influence public discourse, and support peace over the long term.
