We express our profound gratitude to you, our donors for your constant support: you stood in the gap for us. Your selfless donations always makes a difference
For the first quarter of 2022, we have not had any program including counselling for our teen moms and training, although it was a good time to because covid is a bit on the low. We are financially constraint as this project solely relies on donations from our partners to drive it but donations have not being forth coming. However we appreciate your support and the previous beneficiaries constantly express their gratitude for your help". We are working at raising enough money to take off strong and reach more girls sooner.
However we are in constant touch with our newest beneficiary who is yet to benefit from the training but has benefitted from counselling and reproductive health education. 16-year-old Aku*who was one of 51 girls in her community to get pregnant during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Although they did not catch the virus, the effects of the pandemic on their lives will be lasting. She finally gave birth to triplets and the future as it stood looked gloomy but we believed our donors through Dels foundation will help change this narrative.She lost one of her babies but is doing ok,thanks to your support ,she has been recieving counseling and she will be joining our next session ,as soon as we take off with a new cohort for our vocational training program
We did not have any project activity since our last report in 2021,since we are a little disadvantaged with the resources needed to progress and the negative impact of covid 19, however we will soon commencing as we are putting resources and your donations together to take off with a mega impact for our girls, thanks to your generosity.
