Our update on ‘Project Daya’ covers recent highlights of 2 of the female founded companies that we support namely; EHA Clinics;  a world-class primary healthcare service provider in Nigeria. They aim to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare services in any setting: the clinic, the home, or through innovative online and mobile solutions. EHA Clinics provides patient-centred care, community health interventions, and support for research projects. They also provide large-scale access to healthcare through their community healthcare outreach program known as REACH( Reaching Everyone with Accessible Community Health);

Ananya Health;  a company building a portable medical device (cryoablation) to treat cervical pre-cancer. Through its work, Ananya Health is committed to saving women’s lives as the device will substantially increase women’s access to life-saving treatment. Notably, Ananya Health focuses on high burden countries, exemplifying its commitment to true impact.

In the first week of November 2023, EHA Clinics was awarded the Social Enterprise of the Year Award by the Impact Investors Foundation (Nigeria) in recognition of its tireless efforts towards the improvement of healthcare services in the country. EHA Clinics also received a grant award from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models(LLM) tools to support community health workers in low-resource settings.

In August 2023, Ananya Health completed work on their next gen prototype with electronic controls and industry-grade components of their portable device to treat cervical cancer thus bringing them closer to achieving the goal  of early prevention treatment and helping over 40 million women worldwide access such lifesaving treatment.

The above achievements are a validation of our work and testament to why we do what we do.We believe that supporting such women founded companies holds the key to not only bridging the huge gender inequality gap but equally important, it gives a chance to companies that address women's problem's which have been systematically overlooked.With your continued donations we hope to steadfastly support many more of such companies.
