Millions in Pakistan face extreme summer heat, with temperatures often exceeding 45C. Access to clean, cold drinking water is a daily struggle for students, laborers, and underserved communities. This project aims to install 100 water coolers in schools, hospitals, and public areas across Pakistan, ensuring safe drinking water for thousands daily. By providing this basic necessity, we will improve health, reduce heat-related illnesses, and foster community well-being.
In many parts of Pakistan, water sources are either unsafe or inaccessible. High temperatures combined with water scarcity lead to dehydration, heatstroke, and waterborne diseases. Schools without drinking water facilities force children to either bring water from home or go without, affecting their concentration and health.
We will identify priority locations through community surveys, focusing on schools, hospitals, and high-traffic public spaces. Durable, energy-efficient water coolers will be installed, each connected to a clean water source. Regular maintenance and community ownership will ensure long-term sustainability.
Installing 100 water coolers will provide over 50,000 people with safe drinking water daily, reduce health risks, and improve quality of life. Communities will be empowered to maintain and protect the units, ensuring benefits for years to come.
