May Update Report - Taking Care of Business

Tia Lore jams in Walmart
Tia Lore jams in Walmart

Due to the success the jam sale has had in supermarkets in Mexico, for the past month we have been working with the women in Hidalgo and Oaxaca who are very excited and motivated, and want to start new businesses in their communities.

We are very encouraged that the women have expressed a desire to start bakeries where they would like to bake and sell cookies and different kinds of bread. Last week in our offices, we all tried the women’s cookies and we loved them! These bakeries have motivated many other women to pursue their ideas for other micro enterprises, especially because the sale of their products will not only be local, but in many cases, national.

Finally, we are very excited because, as we mentioned last month, you can now find “Tía Lore” jams in the Superama supermarkets in Mexico. Don’t wait any longer! Tell you family and friends in Mexico to purchase “Tía Lore” jams in Superama and Walmart Mexico and support our Mexican entrepreneurs to continue their success!
