Dear Friend,
I wanted to report back on some exciting news after the devastating flood that happened last fall in India. You gave generously and provided much needed relief aid to many families who lost their homes and had no food or supplies.
Your relief kit provided them with food, water, clothing, and supplies to get them through a few weeks. Many families also lost their homes. But today, I'm happy to report that 4 houses were rebuilt thanks to your generosity.
After the flood, Bhimaiah and his family received relief aid immediately. They were so grateful for the food and supplies. Their home was completely washed away from the floods and they had nowhere to live.
Because of your support, we were able to return to Bhimiah's village and give them the supplies and materials needed to build a new home.
"You came to us again and help us so kindly to rebuilt our homes," Bhimiah said. "Now we are living in this newly built homes very happily. We will never forget your great help Thank you one and all."
You gave a family a wonderful place to live. After everything washed away, you stepped in to help them recover from the loss and devastation.
Thank you for your help!
Sincerely,
John Sparks
Thank you for helping hundreds of families in 12 villages after they were inundated in a tragic flood!
When a monsoon flood struck India, thousands had to flee their homes. Flood waters wrecked havoc washing away what little they had, leaving nothing behind for the people that lived there. They had no food or money. Some lost even their homes.
But thanks to your gifts, 12 villages had access to essential supplies, such as food and hygiene products for an entire two weeks.
A member of one village, Madivi, says "Many people came to see us, but only you provided help. We are so glad to have these wonderful provisions to feed my entire household. It is a really amazing thing to me, my family, and to our entire village."
Madivi and others are now in the hard work of rebuilding their homes.
Thank you for your incredible generosity in a time of great need.
