In September 2026, Wonders International held its first agricultural entrepreneurship training program for young people in Xieng Ngeun, Luang Prabang Province, Laos, under the name “Agri-Startup Bootcamp.”
The bootcamp focused on helping participants identify business opportunities in agriculture and develop practical entrepreneurial skills. Participants visited coffee and organic farms to learn from real-world agricultural businesses, exploring their business experiences and approaches to problem-solving.
Through market research and customer interviews, participants refined their business ideas, identified customer problems, and developed solutions while improving their business plans. Each team then refined its business model and developed a final minimum viable product (MVP), gaining hands-on experience in turning entrepreneurial ideas into practical business concepts.
This bootcamp marked an important first step in helping young people in Xieng Ngeun see agriculture not only as a means of subsistence but also as an opportunity to generate income and develop sustainable businesses within their communities.
