Project Report: Inclusive Education of 900 Blind Children in Uganda
 Introduction
We are delighted to present our first project report on the Inclusive Education of 900 Blind Children in Uganda.
This project has been made possible by the generous support of donors like you through GlobalGiving.
We are grateful for your trust in Itinga Charity Education Foundation's mission to provide inclusive educational opportunities to blind children in Uganda.
 Project Update
As of January 2025, we have received a total of £156.85 in donations.
These funds will be used to purchase essential educational materials, specifically one carton of braille papers, and to pay school fees for one child in primary school for the first school term of 2025.
 Project Impact
The provision of braille papers will enable over 16 blind children to access quality education for one term, promoting inclusivity and equality in the classroom. This intervention will have a direct impact on the children's academic performance, confidence, and future prospects.
 Current Status
The children are currently on holiday, and the new term is scheduled to begin in February 2025. We are eager to see the positive impact of our project on the children's educational journey.
