Project Report: Inclusive Education for 900 Blind Children in Uganda
 Introduction
We are delighted to present our project report on the Inclusive Education of 900 Blind Children in Uganda, made possible by the generous support of donors like you through GlobalGiving. We are grateful for your trust in Itinga Charity Education Foundation's mission to provide inclusive educational opportunities to blind children in Uganda.
 Project Update
As of May 2025, we have received a total disbursement of £225.02  in donations. These funds were utilized to purchase essential educational materials, specifically two cartons of braille papers for students who are blind at St. Mary Goretti SS Ngetta, and to cover school fees for one child at Ngetta Girls Primary School, Lira, for the first term of 2025.
 Project Impact
The provision of braille papers enabled 45 blind students to access quality inclusive education in an inclusive classroom for one term in 2025, promoting inclusivity and equality. This intervention will have a direct impact on the children's academic performance, confidence, and future prospects.
