Child Rescue Nepal continues its work to protect vulnerable children in rural Nepal by focusing on improving school attendance. We know that children who regularly attend school are less likely to become victims of human trafficking.
To combat this issue, we implemented a programme to ensure children stay warm and comfortable during the colder months. 1,524 jumpers were distributed to children in rural schools, helping them stay warm and focused on their studies.
Furthermore, we provided 1,200 children with essential educational materials. These bursaries included paper, pens, pencils, erasers, bags and school uniforms, reducing financial barriers to education and encouraging regular school attendance.
By supporting these crucial initiatives, we are not only improving the lives of these children but also actively preventing them from falling victim to human trafficking.
Thank you for your continued support of Child Rescue Nepal's vital work.
