Project Progress Update: Fundraising Phase Continu

By Kibwiika Joseph | Executive Director

Dear our Valued Supporters,

Warm greetings from our team in Uganda and thank you for standing with us in our mission to improve menstrual hygiene and dignity for girls in vulnerable communities.

We would like to share an important update regarding the progress of this project.

Current Fundraising Status.
We are grateful for the generosity shown so far toward this initiative. At the moment, the project is still in the fundraising phase and we are actively working to reach at least 50% of the total fundraising goal. Reaching this milestone is essential to ensure that implementation begins in a well-planned, effective and sustainable manner.
Why We Are Waiting to Start Implementation.

This project involves:

  • Procuring quality menstrual hygiene kits and sanitary pads.

  • Organizing community and school-based menstrual hygiene education sessions.

  • Coordinating logistics to reach multiple schools and communities.

To responsibly carry out these activities and avoid interruptions, we must first secure sufficient funds to cover the initial procurement and distribution costs.

Starting implementation after reaching half of the goal allows us to:

  • Purchase supplies in bulk at lower cost.

  • Ensure equal and fair distribution.

  • Deliver meaningful impact without delays or compromises.

Readiness for Implementation.

Please be assured that:

  • Community leaders and schools have been identified.

  • Implementation plans and timelines are prepared.

  • Our field team is ready to begin immediately once the funding threshold is met.

As soon as we reach at least 50% of the fundraising goal, we will officially launch the implementation phase and begin supporting the first group of girls.

Thank You:

Your continued support, sharing and advocacy are helping us move closer to restoring dignity, confidence and school attendance for 2,000 girls in Uganda. Every contribution brings us closer to action.

We will continue to keep you updated and look forward to sharing photos, stories and impact reports once implementation begins.

With sincere gratitude,
The Project Team
