Whole School Turnaround – Project Report

TTF's Whole School Turnaround model is based on the premise that sustained instructional change cannot occur in schools unless all the stakeholders are involved. The model is designed to be implemented over a period of 2 years, focusing on School Leaders/Management, Teachers, Parents and Students. The model seeks to improve student performance in specific areas each year in a consistent and focussed whole school approach. The goal is that at the end of two years, students in each grade will perform at 1.5 grade levels higher than students in the previous two years in both Reading Levels and Mathematics.

In the past (since 2004) we have trained 150 teachers and 20 school heads under the program. At present we are working with Five schools in Bangalore who are part of the affordable private sector segement ( APS).
