To fight the adverse effects of climate change in Kumbo, I.A.A designed a project to address high rate of deforestation and unsustainable agriculture practices by fostering community engagement of smallholder farmers and peasant women in reforestation. Through community outreach, farmers have been trained on agroforestry practices, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable bee keeping, horticulture and vegetables gardening to achieve food security and economic growth and climate resilience. I.A.A has accomplished the following milestones as of June 30th, 2023:
Integrated Agricultural Association (I.A.A) is grateful for all the donations made to it cause through GlobalGiving. Without your donation, I.A.A would not be able to continue this work. I.A.A's goal is to raise $9,980 by the end of July 2023, to extend to other communities of needs in Cameroon. A donation of any amount will make a difference in our community. Thank you for being part of our work, you are a true supporter.
