According to the World Bank, the unjustified and unlawful Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused a profound economic devastation, with an estimated reconstruction cost of $411 billion over the next decade. To reduce the problem of social inequality and lack of economic opportunities in war-torn Ukraine, we are building an ecosystem and a unique capacity-building platform that empowers entrepreneurs to accelerate the development of the social impact economy in Ukraine.
The project targets Ukrainian SMEs that are grappling with the challenges of war and face additional hurdles to their operations. We help them define a social impact vision, incorporate it into business strategy and build capabilities to deliver and measure it. Entrepreneurs support social impact causes and work on addressing social challenges in post-war Ukraine. Participants are not only foster growth but also address pressing societal challenges in the communities they operate.
100 project graduates will contribute $10M to the GDP of Ukraine in 2025, $250M in 2029. 4M+ beneficiaries after 12 months, 15M+ after 5 years, either directly through products developed by project participants, or indirectly through impact programs supported by participants. Post-war social cohesion increases. Various vulnerable groups are included in the economic growth.
