Bhumi’s Ignite+ program focuses on improving school infrastructure to ensure safe and hygienic sanitation facilities for children, especially young girls in underserved communities. In Q4 FY 2025-26, the program completed the construction and renovation of 59 toilet units across 16 schools, benefiting 2,280 students.
These interventions have helped create safer and more inclusive learning environments by improving access to essential sanitation facilities. Access to clean and functional toilets plays a crucial role in supporting students’ health, dignity, and regular school attendance. For girls in particular, improved sanitation facilities contribute to a more comfortable and supportive learning experience.
Through quality implementation and sustainable infrastructure development, Ignite+ continues to strengthen school environments and promote better educational outcomes. The program remains committed to advancing gender equality and ensuring that every child has access to safe spaces that support learning, well-being, and long-term development.
