The storm system that rapidly formed into Hurricane Nora has brought heavy rains and caused flooding in Western Mexico. Families have been displaced from their homes and the situation is complicated due to COVID-19.
All donations to this fund will support relief and recovery efforts after Hurricane Nora. Initially, funds will help first responders meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter. The fund will later transition to support longer-term recovery efforts run primarily by local, vetted organizations in the communities affected in the Mexico.
How Your Donation Will Be Used
When you donate to GlobalGiving's HurricaneNora Relief Fund, your donation will be used to:
- Provide food and emergency medical supplies to people and animals
- Support temporary relief and emergency supplies for displaced families
- Provide support to front-line workers, like meals and gas
- Meet other needs that emerge
