Thanks to the efforts of our donors and GlobalGiving, in two months we were able to purchase food kits, diapers for adults and medicines for 167 elderly people! And this is about 4260 kilograms of products, 3164 diapers and 75 units of medicines!
Lonely needy grandparents in Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Poltava regions and Kryvyi Rih received assistance.
We also transported 10 people to safe places, and two have already been returned home.
We will not be able to tell the story of each of them and show all the photos we helped, but we want to share those that have sunk into our souls.
Galina's grandmother is 93 years old, she lives alone in Kryvyi Rih. Now that the war has begun and food prices have almost doubled, her pension allows her to buy almost nothing. A caring Ukrainian woman, who is embroidering a "special" girl and needs help herself, told us about her. Grandmother was very ashamed and awkwardly asked to buy her a bun and water, because she did not have enough money for it. We can't help everyone, but thanks to this project and your donuts, Grandma Galina got a monthly supply of about 30 kilograms of food.
More photos can be seen on our social media pages and on GlobalGiving on our project page.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who joined the fundraiser, because thanks to you, we can help those who are having the hardest time, those who need our support in peacetime.
Each of you is incredible, each of you is our hero and dearest friend.
