Of Africa's nearly 420 million youth aged 15-35, one-third are unemployed and discouraged, another third are vulnerably employed (AfDB 2023). Majority of them do not know how to design a project that can attract financing/investment even if they may have best idea. HEJURU is a youth-powered novel program that develops Africa's best young talents and ideas into tangible, marketable projects and businesses that are bankable/ fundable, sustainable and growth orientated.
Over 400million youth between 15-35 in Africa... majority of young entrepreneurs (or just regular youth with an idea) do not know how to design a project that can attract financing, even if they have the best idea ... Only a handful of youth owned enterprises or youth-led innovations ever see the market place, largely due to this gap.
Our solution: is to develop Africa's best young talents and ideas into tangible, marketable projects and businesses that are bankable/ fundable, sustainable and growth orientated. Our philisophy is: to support the creation of consistent cycles of innovations powered by youth from all Africa's backgrounds and cultures and to promote the Youth Employ Youth (YEY) , thus AYE(Africa's Youth Employed)= CCI(Consistent Cycles of Innovations, fully supported*YEY:Youth Employ Youth).
