Envitonment Aware And Restoration Netwotk--EARN is transformative ,reactive and restoration nonprofit organization focusing on oil pollution,unprecended level of environmental degradation,impacts on human health and livelihood and post community disasters transformation and reliefs support to victims of pollution both envitmronmental and climate.
This youth-driven project was fashioned or created to be a life-support to youths affected by incessant oil spill disasters in the Niger Delta area of Omoku,in the Rivers state where bulk of crude oil in Nigeria is exploited and produced with great risks of oil discharges to community resources including water and mangrove farmlands. Oil spills have polluted community wate r,destroyed their fishiing business and farmlands leaving the youth in particular without means of livelihoods forcing them into criminal activities including crude oil theft and bunkering.
Equipping and training youth can impact their way of their life positively to become selfsufficient,resilient,skillful,empoyableand potential future leaders.
