This project aims to increase the resilience and empowerment of vulnerable women/youth to climate shocks, migration and the socio-economic crisis of the country. It also aims to set up an agricultural product processing unit, strengthen the capacity of women in fruit processing techniques; diversify their sources of income for women by strengthening agricultural micro-enterprises and the Savings and Credit Groups (GEC) fund.
Poor families in the communities are decapitalized following the harmful consequences of the country's socio-economic crises, the phenomenon of climate change, the increase in migratory practices, violation of women's rights; mutual solidarity societies do not have sufficient funds to meet all the needs of members and agricultural fruits are not valued, preventing the diversification of families' sources of income.
This project aims to recapitalize marginalized families by strengthening the capacities of women; encourage the development of female leadership; set up a transformation unit for wealth creation; encourage the empowerment of women; strengthen the structures and portfolios of mutual solidarity societies so that they can be able to grant loans and increase agricultural micro-enterprises in the communities.
Through this project, marginalized women in community development activities will be reintegrated; capacity of 170 women will be strengthened and will have access to credit; quality processed products are available in the communities; Annual income of farmers will increase by 15%; Migration practices will decrease in the communities; jobs will be created by 5%; increase in agricultural micro-enterprises in the communities.
