Activities Completed, Challenges Encountered, and Lessons Learned:
During the reporting period, three meetings were held with the project staff and the association's advisors on the following topics: Sharing information on the history, mission, and operations of GlobalGiving; Explanation of the various funding opportunities and preparation for GlobalGiving's Little by Little campaign; Sharing information on new strategies to attract more donors to help achieve the project's objectives. All aspects of the activities were well executed, and the participants' expectations were met.
Regarding the Challenges Encountered: From a financial perspective, to date, we have not been able to achieve significant progress due to a lack of available financial resources. Meanwhile, the entire team is working on new strategies to attract more donors and increase our fundraising efforts to achieve the project's objectives. From a communication standpoint: We were unable to submit the report by the project deadline due to unstable internet connections during the reporting period. We will work diligently to prevent this from happening again.
Regarding Lessons Learned: The dynamic GlobalGiving team's ability to continuously work towards its mission, combined with GlobalGiving's role as a funding platform, provides powerful tools for community development and organizational capacity building.
The activities during the reporting period took place during a very challenging time, politically, economically, and socially. The country's ongoing crisis continues to worsen, and families in the communities face enormous difficulties. Because of mistreatment and insecurity caused by the expansion of gang trafficking in all regions of the country, several families who lived outside the country and in other cities within the country are migrating to the community, increasing the economic burden on families on a daily basis.
