Activities carried out, difficulties encountered, and lessons learned:
During the reporting period, three meetings were held with the project team and the association's advisors on the following topics: presentation of GlobalGiving's history, mission, and activities; explanation of the various funding opportunities and preparation for GlobalGiving's "July Bonus" campaign; and sharing of information on new fundraising strategies that could contribute to achieving the project's objectives. All activities were successfully completed, and participants' expectations were met.
Regarding difficulties encountered: Financially, we were unable to make significant progress due to a lack of available funds during the reporting period. The team is currently working on developing new strategies to secure funding for the project. Regarding communication: We were unable to submit the report on time due to an unstable internet connection. We will do everything we can to prevent this from happening again.
Lessons Learned: The dynamism of the GlobalGiving team, which works tirelessly to fulfill its mission, and GlobalGiving as a funding platform, are invaluable tools for community development and strengthening the organization's capacity.
The activities carried out during the reporting period took place in an extremely challenging political, economic, and social context. The crisis in the country continues to worsen, and families in the communities face enormous hardship. Due to the violence and insecurity caused by the rise of gangs in all regions of the country, many families who previously lived abroad or in other cities are migrating to these communities, further increasing their daily economic burden.
