Our 45th anniversary season was a big celebration – hundreds of events featuring dozens of the world’s best artists, serving over 20,000 people of all ages – thanks to your support! Check out the 2015 Annual Report below for more details about our 45th season.

Chamber Music Northwest is now gearing up for our 3rd annual Winter Festival, running January 26 through February 1, 2016. The Festival, entitled "Masterpieces Reimagined," will include six concerts, two coaching sessions, an open rehearsal, a master class, and other outreach performances and joint lectures in collaboration with our collegiate partners, Reed College and Portland State University.

We are continuing our partnership with Portland Youth Philharmonic, and will feature their chamber ensembles in performances prior to our main-stage concerts. Dozens of young musicians will have the opportunity to be coached by CMNW festival artists. Previous coaching sessions have been extremely rewarding and inspiring to students, as seen in this thank you note from a PYP student from last year's Winter Festival:

“Thank you so much for giving me the wonderful opportunity to participate in CMNW through a pre-concert performance and a coaching with Steven Tenenbom … The pre-concert performance was really fun, and I would love it if PYP would collaborate with you in the future. Most of all, I am extremely grateful for the experience of working with Mr. Tenenbom. His effect on the ensemble was magical, and I will never forget it. I cannot fathom how fortunate I really am to have had these opportunities and again, I thank you very much.”

Our upcoming Winter Festival and educational programming would not be possible without the dedicated support of people like you! Thank you so much for your generosity in partnering with Chamber Music Northwest to bring great chamber music to Portland.
