Dear Friends and Supporters,
I hope you are all doing well and blessed. Please find our October newsletter attached, sharing some wonderful updates about the lives you are helping us change here in Tanzania. We are so grateful for your continued love, prayers, and generosity, which allow us to provide children and families with opportunities for a better future.
We are excited to share that the Makenda children—Darius, Doreen, and little Gregory—are making tremendous progress. After experiencing malnutrition and living in a fragile steel-shed shelter, the family now has a safer home we have built, daily food, weekly food supplements, and school sponsorships. We are also thrilled to announce that their well is almost finished! Through your support, this family is gaining access to the essentials they need to live with greater health, dignity, and security. We hope to provide a water pump next so they can access water more easily.
Oliva and Tunu’s family is also experiencing an incredible transformation. What was once a dilapidated shelter on a small piece of land has been renovated into a proper home, complete with walls, floors, windows, a roof and kitchen, and a toilet. The family has also received furniture and school sponsorships for the children. Now, thanks to their sponsors, we have broken ground and begun digging a well for them. Imagine having to buy and carry a single bucket of water from miles away for drinking, cooking, washing, and cleaning. This well will make an enormous difference in their daily lives and bring them one step closer to self-sufficiency.
These families remind us why we do this work. Together, we are turning stories of hardship into stories of hope, stability, and opportunity. Thank you for standing with WOW Tanzania and helping us break the chains of poverty, one child and one family at a time. Your partnership is making a lasting difference, and we are deeply grateful to have you on this journey with us.
