When *Braveheart (not hsi real name) arrived at our Halfway House about a year ago, he needed a safe place to a place to call home. At Lifesong Kenya's Halfway House, he received much more! Together with other 2 boys, Bravehert has been accompanying our staff and team of volunteers to cycle from our Halfway House to Osupuko Village, about 12 km away, where we engage 40 other boys in reading, life skills and football (soccer) training.
By cycling to and from our Halfway House, the boys are able to enjoy the fresh air, become physically fit and learn how to work together, fix bicycle issues and become reilient. The bicycle is becoming a tool that is enabling our team to access the village and give boys an opportunity to dream that it is possible for the outside world to come to their doorsteps in their remote villages.
Thanks to your generous support, we are able to use bicycles as wheels of hope that give our boys and exceptional young men a sense of hope, courage and freedom! With your continued support and sharing about our amazing impact together, we can help provide bicycles to each of the boys and amplify our impact. Imagine what that looks like!
