Agnes with her sponsor Linda in 2009

Agnes was born on 18th August 2000, Agnes is a total orphan who lost her parents at early age due HIV Aids leaving her hopeless until 2006.

After her parents death she was taken in by lady who knew her parents but later on she kept bringing men in and started also sex abusing her until we met her in 2006. We thank God she was able to be helped wright way with the help of a good samaritan [at Grassroots Uganda] who got her support from her parents.

Her sponsors have been so kind to Agnes and thank them for the work well done. They have tremendously shown their love and support to the little girl Agnes by providing her with all the necessary required basics.

Agnes was one of the few children who were enrolled first in House of Hope family in 2006 since then she has been under the care of house of hope family.

Agnes sat her primary leaving examination in 2013 and she passed. She joined secondary level for the first 3yrs but because of her torture and psychological suffering she had passed through she couldn't complete her secondary. She therefore choose to go by vocational skills majoring in fashion and design.  Agnes has a set of talents and skills. She needs support to develop them and put them at work. At house of hope Agnes she heads the team of netball and volleyball and she is good at knitting and weaving skills which she does using local available resources. Also she leads praise and worship in sunday school.

Agnes hopes to help those who are suffering the same way she suffered after her training.

With your love and support hopeless are hopeful.
