Sewing Center

The sewing center students have already learned how to sew clothes, so now they are working on handbags and ladies’ shawls. The trainer is very excited along with students. The trainer shared, “This is what was in my mind to teach the girls. Now they cannot only stitch clothes, but they can also make the other things.”

Computer Center

The students are continuing to practice by working on their assignments in our computer academy. They are nearly finished with the course and they will be receiving their certificates after the Christmas holidays. The students are now preparing for final exams, and the trainer is doing his best to teach.

Farming

Farmers are ready to sow the mustard and fodder it. The land is already prepared after cultivating. The farmers work hard to ensure there is enough water for the crops. They are hoping they will get more water.

Sewing Center

The sewing center is providing the best skills training to women, enabling them to make a difference in the community as they help their families. We are on the track to empower the women to live better lives.

*Mariam belongs to a community of a certain religion. She was never allowed to go outside, and when she finished her religious education, she still never went out. Mariam’s family allowed her to be part of this sewing center, and now she is receiving training. Mariam shared, “First of all, I learned love and discipline from this center. Before, I never learned to love and respect others. Now that I am part of this center, I think of myself as an ambassador of mercy and love. I am encouraging other girls to join this stitching center. It has developed my life in skills and manner.”

Farming

Agriculture constitutes the largest sector of our economy. The majority of the population, directly or indirectly, is dependent on this sector. We are uplifting the community by helping to provide the farming project at OM Land. We are also planning to start fish farming at OM Land. This will also provide resources for many people.

After the drought, water is now available, and the farmer planted new crops. Last month, we invited the agriculture consultant for an awareness seminar about water and fertilizer. The seminar taught farmers how to conserve the fertilizer and water.

Computer Center

Through computer technology, we are equipping the youth for a better future. Many students have already completed the training course and we are still receiving more students.

*Asher was part of our computer academy. After completing his course, he applied for a job as a computer operator. He is currently doing this job and helping his family. Asher said, “It was like a dream for me to get a job in the computer technology sector. My hard work and skills that I learned from the computer academy helped me a lot to get this job.”

*Joshua completed his computer training course from our academy. Joshua was one of the best students in our academy. Not only was he studying about computer technology but was also very active in youth activities. After completing his computer course, he applied for a government job as a computer operator and he was selected for the job.

Joshua said, “I am really thankful for this computer academy that is helping us by providing the good knowledge of computer technology. Whatever I learn is very helpful to me.”

Farming

Agriculture constitutes the largest sector of our economy. The majority of the population, directly or indirectly, is dependent on this sector. We are uplifting the community by providing the farming project in the Sindh Province. We are also planning to start fish farming, as this will also provide resources for many people.

Since the farmers are working the project land, their lifestyle has changed. Their children are going to school and they are getting enough food for their families. Now, they also know the importance of health and are growing physically.

Nowadays, there is a lack of water and the irrigation system is closed. Farmers are waiting for water to complete the fish farm.

Sewing Centre

The sewing class is making a difference in the community. Many women are being trained in stitching skills and are able to increase the financial resources for their families. Many are encouraged and taking initiative to better live.

The group at the sewing centre are practicing stitching and learning to cut patterns. They have almost finished the course. The students are very excited and waiting for the day of graduation. We are also looking forward to new admissions for a new group.

Computer Centre

The computer academy is equipping the youth for their better future. Many students have completed the computer course from this academy. Currently, we have nine students passionately learning and gaining the knowledge of computer technology.

The group of computer students also completes typing practice and is almost finished with the class. Soon, we will distribute the completion certificates to the students, and we are also getting new admissions for a new group.

Sewing Class

Our sewing center is equipping the women to live better lives. The sewing students are moving forward and learning to cut and pattern. Their teacher is also working hard to give them a lot of ideas on style for cutting and stitching.

We have built trust in community leadership and also among the women. Lives are being transformed here.

*Sonia is part of our sewing center and enjoys the atmosphere of the center. When asked, Sonia told us, “I am encouraged that we are not only learning the skills of stitching but also we are mentored by our teacher on how to live a good and meaningful life. Our lives are changed here.”

Computer Center

The students in our computer center are also gaining knowledge and skills on the computer. They are learning and practicing typing skills. Their teacher is helping them to grasp the formulas, and the students are very happy, enjoying the good atmosphere.

Our computer academy is providing the knowledge of technology and impacting students’ lives to go on to impact the lives of others.

Farming

The field of fodder is growing, and farmers are happy that they will harvest the crop after a few months. They are on the way of progress; the hard work is moving them on the road of self-sustainability.
