Because of war Ukraine is going through biggest humanitarian crisis since WW2, more than five million people are internally displaced Ukraine. Today, roughly one in three families in Ukraine - 11 million people - are food insecure. Nearly one-third of the population is unemployed. Many are now weathering a bitterly cold winter without power.
Hope For Ukraine supplying emergency food kits on average to 1500 families in Ukraine weekly. Our efforts in Ukraine providing food security to thousands of families in Eastern and Southern regions close to frontline.
War is still ongoing in Ukraine! We are overwhelmed by the number of requests we receive daily from families asking for basic groceries. Our long-term plan is to increase weekly distribution of food kits from 1500 to 2000 a week in 2024.
