Summer is a busy kitten season which means rescue groups have to work double time to save as many lives as possible. It can feel overwhelming at times, but the stories of happy endings make it all worth it for us at Cat AdopTion Service! This beautiful family was pulled from a filthy, high-kill shelter in LA several months ago. The shelter is over-crowded and under-staffed and this family had untreated upper respiratory infections. Sadly, one of the babies was so sick with pneumonia that he died a few days after transport, and a second kitten, Stark, was critically ill and hospitalized. Our foster mom, Elizabeth, took excellent care of the family and eagerly awaited good news on baby Stark. It was up and down with his recovery for weeks. Finally, after a long hospital stay and excellent vet care, Stark was able to return to his mom and adorable brother. Fortunately, thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, his other siblings Dorthraki and Lanister have already been adopted. Tararyen, (the stunning Siamese mother), Stark, and his brother Baratheon are all looking for loving homes. Many of our rescue cats have sad beginnings, but thankfully with the help of our dedicated network of volunteers and fosters, we are able to give them happy endings.
Please help spread awareness about the plight of stray animals and the importance of spay/neuter. And encourage everyone you know who is interested in a companion animal to adopt!
Thank you for all your support!
