Hello Wonderful Supporters,
Today I want to tell you a simple story about what we do everyday and how anyone can change a life!
Wendy, the beautiful tabby, got her name from the place she was found- you got it, a Wendy's parking lot! Cat Adoption Service got a call about her from a woman who noticed her several times when she visited Wendy's on her way home from work. One of our volunteers set up a trap and after several days, we finally caught her. However, something was different- she looked much skinnier. The volunteer surmised that she might have been pregnant and had given birth. After a search of the bushes around the restaurant, the precious and healthy newborn litter was found! We took the whole family into rescue, where they are now thriving in a foster home!
Mother cat Wendy is partially feral from a life on the street, so she will need a special home. Her kittens, however, are people-loving and will be up for adoption soon!
If you've seen a cat you think may be stray, find out more about it and call a rescue! And remember, spay and neuter your pets and spread the word about the importance of spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership. Together, we can make a world where no animal is homeless!
