100 Homes for 100 Elders in Uganda

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to continue providing care and support in form of bedding and clothing to elderly people living in vulnerable rural communities in Uganda. Many of these older men and women struggle with poor health, limited mobility, and financial hardship, making even the simplest daily activities a challenge.

Your support enabled Development Alert to provide food assistance, personal care items, and regular visits that offered encouragement and companionship. These visits have become an important source of emotional support for elderly beneficiaries who often experience loneliness and isolation.

For many of the elderly individuals we serve, your generosity represents far more than material assistance. It is a reminder that they are respected, valued, and remembered. Knowing that someone cares about their well-being has restored hope and improved their emotional health.

Families have also benefited from this support, as it has reduced the burden of caring for elderly relatives while ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
