100 Homes for 100 Elders in Uganda

Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to improve the health and well-being of over 100 elderly people in rural Uganda by providing access to nutritious food, basic healthcare, and essential household support.

Many elderly individuals face chronic health conditions while living on very limited resources. Through your generosity, they received assistance that helped improve their nutrition, manage their health, and meet their daily needs. Some beneficiaries also received referrals for additional medical care, helping them access treatment they otherwise could not afford.

This support has brought renewed hope to elderly community members who often feel forgotten. They have shared stories of how the assistance has eased their daily struggles and allowed them to live with greater comfort and confidence.

Your generosity is making a lasting difference by helping older adults remain healthier, more independent, and better able to participate in community life. It also strengthens families by easing some of the financial pressure associated with caring for aging relatives.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to continue providing care and support in form of bedding and clothing to elderly people living in vulnerable rural communities in Uganda. Many of these older men and women struggle with poor health, limited mobility, and financial hardship, making even the simplest daily activities a challenge.

Your support enabled Development Alert to provide food assistance, personal care items, and regular visits that offered encouragement and companionship. These visits have become an important source of emotional support for elderly beneficiaries who often experience loneliness and isolation.

For many of the elderly individuals we serve, your generosity represents far more than material assistance. It is a reminder that they are respected, valued, and remembered. Knowing that someone cares about their well-being has restored hope and improved their emotional health.
