Dear Friend,
In rural Uganda, many elderly and vulnerable community members face significant challenges in accessing basic needs and essential care. With limited family support systems and inadequate social protection services, old age often comes with increased hardship, isolation, and unmet daily needs.
Development Alert recognizes this critical gap and is committed to restoring dignity and improving the quality of life for older persons in underserved communities. Through targeted support, we have so far reached 100 elderly and vulnerable individuals with essential assistance to help meet their basic needs.
This project provides a lifeline to seniors who would otherwise struggle to access food, healthcare, and other essential household necessities. By stepping in where support systems are weak, we are helping to ensure that older persons can live with dignity, safety, and care.
