The pandemic continues to restrict outings and activities, but the residents of Sarah’s House persist in encouraging one another and moving forward. The house celebrated one girl moving to the Transition Home, a significant step towards healing and living safely on her own.
As they applauded her accomplishment, everyone also welcomed a new girl into Sarah’s House. She is very happy to be with the other girls and the staff members in a safe home.
All the girls made a great start in their new school year. Two of the recent high school graduates began law school together, while the other graduate started at Bible college. The other girls all advanced to the next grade in traditional and vocational middle and high school, with studies and interests including medicine, the social sciences, IT, missions, cooking. We are daily inspired by their courage, determination, and resilience!
