Sarah's Circle is in the final days of construction of our new building and by the end of this month, ten women who have struggled with chronic homelessness will move into their permanent homes on the top two floors!
This is a big and exciting step for our clients. For many, this will be the first time in years that they have had their own real bed or had the use of their own kitchen- to wake up and make a cup of coffee without going somewhere, getting in line etc. is a true luxury for our clients.
To ensure our ladies have everything they need to make their new apartments feel like a true home, Sarah's Circle launched an online Housewarming Registry through Bed, Bath, and Beyond less than a month ago. Our registry has received a great response so far, but our clients are still in high need of the following essential items: pillows and sheets, comforters, mattress covers, towels, and shower curtains. Would you consider taking the time today to purchase housewarming gifts to help one of Chicago's most vulnerable women finally move into a home of her own?
We are excited that our move-in date is less than a week away. Thank you for everything you've done to help us get to this point!
