We are getting very excited as the time to move 10 of our clients who have experienced chronic homelessness into their new apartments draws closer. We are on schedule for our July move-in date. Currently, we are putting in the flooring, the façade in the front of the building is going up, and all the stairs have been built in. The apartments will be fully furnished, have plenty of natural light, and each floor will have a sitting area as well as a laundry unit.
Below you will find some pictures of our progress: The first picture shows the front of the building being prepared to be enclosed and finished, the second picture is of the drywalled hallway on the third floor for the apartments, and the final picture shows an ADA accessible apartment on the third floor. We hope these pictures will help to make you as excited as we are!
Thank you for all you have done to make this new building a reality ant in providing permanent, stable housing for vulnerable women.
