Stationery Distribution to Children of Prime Trust's Remedial Schools
1 August 2026

As the new academic year progresses, Prime Educational and Social Trust (Prime Trust) remains committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn with confidence and dignity. On 1 August 2026, we organized a stationery distribution programme for children enrolled in our remedial education centres across rural and underprivileged communities in and around Puducherry.

Many of the children who attend our remedial schools come from families facing severe financial hardships. Their parents are daily wage earners, single mothers, or unemployed workers who struggle to meet even their basic household needs. Purchasing notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and other essential learning materials often becomes an additional burden. Without these basic supplies, many children find it difficult to participate actively in school and complete their assignments.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, Prime Trust was able to distribute essential stationery kits to the children, ensuring that they have the tools needed to continue their education without interruption. Each child received notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, and other necessary classroom materials. The joy and excitement on the faces of the children clearly reflected how meaningful these simple gifts were to them.

The distribution programme was conducted in the presence of our teachers, staff members, volunteers, and community representatives. Along with distributing the stationery, our educators encouraged the children to use these materials responsibly, maintain neat notebooks, and develop good study habits. They also reminded the children that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and building a brighter future.

Our remedial education programme provides much more than academic support. Every evening, children receive guidance in completing their homework, improving their reading and writing skills, strengthening their understanding of mathematics and science, and developing confidence through individual attention. Many of these children are first-generation learners who require additional encouragement to remain in school. By providing both educational support and learning materials, we help reduce school dropout rates and improve academic performance.

This programme would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of supporters from around the world. Your contributions directly impact the lives of children who otherwise might have to study without adequate learning materials. Every notebook distributed represents an opportunity for a child to learn, dream, and build a better future.

Prime Trust extends its heartfelt gratitude to all our GlobalGiving donors for standing with us in our mission to promote education for disadvantaged children. Your support continues to inspire hope and create lasting change in the lives of hundreds of young learners.

As we move forward, we remain committed to strengthening our remedial education programme by providing quality teaching, educational resources, and a safe learning environment where every child can thrive. Together, we are helping children discover their potential and empowering them to become responsible, educated, and confident members of society.

Thank you for believing in our children and investing in their future. Every contribution makes a lasting difference.
