School on Wheels goal for 2014 is to provide one-on-one tutoring to 3000+ homeles children in Southern California. In line with their strategic goal of 2011 to double the number of students served in 3 years.
They are on target to meet their student goal but need additional support to reach their fundraising goal! School on Wheels is not in the business of hosting golf tournements, or glamorous events. Their mission to work with homeless students to enable them to succeed in school. 93% of every dollar donated goes into the program to match volunteer tutors with homeless students.
Global Giving is invaluable to School on Wheels in that it creates visibility for the nonprofit and allows them to do what they do best - support homeless students.
