Challenge

Many families in rural and low-income communities live in unsafe and damaged homes due to poverty and lack of maintenance support. Broken roofs, weak walls, and poor flooring expose families to weather conditions, illness, and insecurity. These unsafe living conditions affect children, the elderly, and vulnerable households the most.

Solution

This project will repair damaged homes by fixing roofs, strengthening walls, improving flooring, and making houses safer for families. Local workers will be engaged to carry out repairs, ensuring community participation and job creation. Each repaired home will provide a safer and more stable environment for families to live in dignity.

Long-Term Impact

Families will live in safer and more secure homes, reducing exposure to weather-related risks and structural hazards. Improved housing conditions will enhance health, stability, and dignity. Over time, stronger housing will help communities become more resilient and improve overall quality of life for vulnerable families in Ghana.
