Hospice Africa Uganda teams at our three sites in Mbarara district, Hoima district and Kampala district are led by the ethos that puts every patient at the centre of care. Our motivation is in achieving the highest possible level of comfort and peace for every patient in our care.
Between 1st September 2021 and 30th November 2021, we continued to deliver monthly home-based care for cancer patients. We visited 132 out of 140 cancer patients at home, which was 94% of our target. For every patient, we had the opportunity to appreciate the entire family, to support the caregivers and to provide holisitic care.
Because of you our very generous partners, our aspirations were attainable. We achieved the target for this project. Your giving ensured that patients like Blasio in this video https://youtu.be/hbYonI-FHS4 live their best life possible depsite cancer.
