The Information centres will offer women and adolescent girls building their capacities and make linkages to the required services of local government as per their need through our information centre. It includes getting prepared for documentation to avail the govt. welfare services for food, nutrition, vaccination, health and livelihood. Make sure that every child in the community goes to school. The centre will provide life skill related training and linkages for holistic development.
IASEW have more than 25 years of experience working with informal economy and with women. Though we are now in the 21st century and the era of technology and globalisation still women in the informal economy is vulnerable. Today also women is struggling for education, socio-economic limitations, food, health, hygiene, employment and income. Our education system not give equal opportunities to access education to children especially in remote areas and disadvantaged community.
Creating three localized information centers in Gujarat. Give them training related to nutrition. To make sure that every child in the community goes to school.
300 women and girls from the marginalised families will be reached through 3 information centres. It will provide them information about importance of education and help drop outs to rejoin education. IT will provide different health and hygiene related information to girls/youth which will prove important life skill for them. It will create the necessary linkages to solve the problem of documentations and taking benefits of applicable govt. welfare schemes.
