The International participants-IPs while they were in R-VCP had an active role in the RVCP 5 projects ( HIV/AIDS awareness;Hygiene; Water and Sanitation; Malaria Prevention; Income Generation and gender empowerment ) and 2 initiatives{ MHEP and LCCM }.
In addition, IP’s and R-VCP members had time to socialize or entertain as a way of culture exchange and welfare of IPs while they were volunteering with RVCP.
Among social activities and entertainment are learning Kinyarwanda,tradition dance (Kinyarwanda Drama), making Tour of Butare (Market, Supermarket, Bars, Main restaurants, Hotels etc), cooking on stove,Physical exercises (football match,…),visiting different places in the Country such as Genocide Memorial Site, National Museum and Tourism.
