TOLFA admitted nearly 6,000 animals to our hospital in India in 2023. Many of these animals are very young and vulnerable, requiring extra special care, which is why we have created our High Dependency Unit (HDU). The sickest puppies and kittens need more intensive observation, treatment and nursing care than can be provided in kennels. This project will provide the vital resources and equipment required to care for these fragile patients.
India's rapid population growth has made survival difficult for hundreds of thousands of street animals. TOLFA is dedicated to rescuing animals that are suffering from disease, accidents, and abuse on a daily basis. Among them, the most vulnerable are the babies - puppies and kittens - that require the utmost care and support due to their poor condition. Abandoned, sickly, and deprived of nutrients and warmth, these animals require the attention of our High Dependency Unit
Our team of dedicated and compassionate animal care staff work tirelessly to ensure that all animals in our care receive the best possible treatment. This includes providing medication, wound care, and regular check-ups to monitor their progress. We also ensure that animals have access to comfortable bedding, clean water, and nutritious food to aid in their recovery. Our aim is to not only provide medical care, but to also offer a safe and nurturing environment for animals to heal.
TOLFA has been working tirelessly to rescue these animals and provide them with the necessary treatment and care to ensure their welfare and survival. Through this project, we will raise awareness on the importance of animal welfare and encourage people to take action in helping animals in need. The success of this project will bring positive changes to the lives of these animals and also inspire others to make a difference in the world. Hundreds of animals will be given a second chance at life.
