Greetings Friends!
Every day at the Texas Center Point Veterans Program, we get to see and experience life changing experiences in the lives of our Heroes their gratitude for the help they are receiving doesn't compare with their passion for their service and the sacrifices they made for all of us. Your donations help us to leverage the funds that we have available to give our Heroes a Helping Hand!.
Few stories from our program
Mr. TH (basketball shirt) was enrolled on July. He has received job development services, such as resume writing skills, job search assistance and job referrals, and linkages with other providers. Mr. TH also received dress-for-success in which he was provided a suit, shirt, shoes, and socks. In this picture, Mr. TH was receiving a weekly *bus pass so that he can go to his job interview and the shoes that TCP received as a donation. Mr. TH recently obtained employment with Sweep Across TX, making $10.00/hr, for 40+ hours/week.
Mr. RR (red shirt) was also enrolled and received resume writing skills, job search and job referrals, and linkages with other providers. Mr. RR was referred to TCP by our Power-Partner Job Club, Texas Veterans Commission. Two weeks later, Mr. RR obtained employment with Premier Parking, making $10.00/hr, for 40 hrs/week. In this picture, Mr. RR was receiving a weekly *bus pass to assist him getting to work.
