With the increasing popularity of herbal garden in schools, more and more request for the implementation and extension of this program is on raise. In the month of March, as a follow-up activities of Nature Club, a herbal garden orientation and development training of three days was organized in a school of Bandipur. Students seemed very eager towards the development of herbal garden in their school compound.
A very interesting incident occurred during the training program. The first day went very smoothly with plantation of some herbs in the compound. On the second day, when the participants arrived in the training venue, we saw that all the plants planted in the earlier day were grazed by animals during evening hours. Keeping the spirit of the students alive, students made a fencing in the herbal garden constructed in the school. Ms. Tak Maya Gurung, Nature Club Facilitator teacher of Tribhuvan Nature Club expressed that she hadn’t saw such a spirit among the students during the development of herbal garden in any other program. She also thanked the facilitator Mr. Bipin for facilitating the training program in the school.
We would like to thank you for your continuous support in our initiation.
