Sugar's Gift, Inc. is the ONLY 501(c)(3) organization in the country providing our services. We provide hospice, euthanasia and end-of-life veterinary services for terminally ill pets in their own homes. This allows them a comfortable, peaceful setting, where they have lived and been loved, to cross over the Rainbow Bridge with dignity. Our services overcome conditions that could be due to the pet's inability to be moved or treated at a facility, or due a pet owner being home-bound.
We are the only 501(c)(3) in the country performing our services. There is a huge need to help those who are home-bound and need to have one of their babies cross the Rainbow Bridge from home. In addition, those animals who are terminally ill and are in pain, and cannot be moved comfortably, also need to cross the Rainbow Bridge from home with dignity and stay where they are loved and have been loved.
We will serve any pet owner who has a terminally ill pet that cannot be moved, due to pain levels or a medical issue, in their "End of Life" phase. We will also serve any home-bound pet owner who cannot transport their faithful pet to the veterinarian for euthanasia, whose pet is in their "End of Life" phase. We will also serve every pet owner who can attend our free workshops on Pet Trusts and the need to include your pets in your estate planning documents.
Our goal is to help one pet per day cross over the Rainbow Bridge with comfort, dignity and peace. It costs us approximately $1,000 to help one pet. We expect that once our presence is known, we will need to fund one pet per day by the end of the first year. We are currently in the Sarasota/Bradenton FL area, and in 2019, we have expanded into the Vacaville, CA and Bay Areas of CA. Then, by the end 2022, we want to be nationwide.
