With your contribution children will have the tools to live experiences of well-being, increase their inner strength and self-confidence, because most of them have lived stressful and traumatic experiences due to physical, emotional or psychological violence. Education system in Colombia has had several problems over the years, due to lack of school coverage in some areas of the country. Some children in CRAN are affected by this situation since they may have not a spot in any of the public schools, while some of their peers can attend school. This problem of inequality and deprivation, shows a noticeable delay in their educational process hindering appropriate cognitive, physical, emotional and social development.
This project will give funding for us to build a space for the development of activities that validate individual differences in children, not only in terms of academic performance and achievements in learning, but in an inclusive manner in each of the characteristics of the personal history, educational experience, cultural, sports, among others. Always under the principle of respect for the learning dynamics of each child allowing unrestricted access to the knowledge, skills and values.
The long-term impact of this project will be reflected in the evolution and improvement in the learning process of conception of equality, understanding their needs and recognition of difference, so we believe in the benefit of offering children different environments that allow them to apply those topics in everyday activities that will give them the foundations for the future learning, contributing to their proper growth, development and overall happiness.
