You are subscribed to email updates from Helping kids with a cleft to Smile again from Fundación Sonríe Pereira and here is the report from the last month:
-We have been working on our best dream! It is to have our consulting rooms! We have an alliance with the most important Public Hospital in Pereira and they are going to give us a space for 3 consulting rooms shared with Fundación Sanar (Children with cancer). We are both happy to have advanced, we now have the furniture, the dental units, and some dental supplies, we want to begin the building in January 2021. At this moment our services are provided in the private Doctor’s consulting rooms, our Doctors have a big heart but we want our own space.
-We are having new medical specialties like otolaryngologist, geneticist, nutritionist, and a new speech therapist hired directly by the Foundation, so we can offer more complete treatment for our patients.
-We created our “Art School”, in which some volunteers one time a week teach artistic classes like clay, origami, music, stories, drawing, and others. We have this new and funny moment with our patients.
