Dear Friend,
You are subscribed to email updates from Helping kids with a cleft to Smile again from Fundación Sonríe Pereira and here is the report from the second trimester (april to June 2021):
• In the month of May, hundreds of families had to evacuate their homes due to the heavy flooding that occurred in the Municipality of La Virginia-Risaralda-Colombia. With the water in their houses at a height of five feet, many of our children who lived in that area lost everything. The Sonríe Foundation was present, delivering markets, clothing and toiletries in general, to support them in this difficult situation.
• We reactivate surgeries! Despite the high rates of COVID infections in our city and the red alert for intensive care unit occupancy, we resumed our care in surgeries to help rebuild the smile of our children.
• Back to the office! Our administrative staff is already working again in semi-presence. We hope to see again those beautiful faces of our patients, giving them all our support and dedication, to achieve a successful treatment.
We want to continue to positively impact the lives of our children with LPH, we hope to continue counting on your support! This cause doesn't stop!
Thanks for your Help,
DIANA MARCELA DUQUE O.
