We are beginning 2021 with great news for Fundación Sonríe! We are on the final review of the contract to build our new consulting rooms located in the "Hospital San Jorge" in Pereira, it is the biggest Public Hospital in the region and we want to start building in May 2021, we need more than ever your help to make this dream come true! Our children are attended right now in the private consulting rooms of our Doctors but this year we are going to have a place for the Foundation and their patients.
About a summary of 2020:
-We held 352 total video calls from different medical specialties in 2020. We are attending also to our patients and their families in person when required. In 2021 we are going to continue with telehealth.
-In December 2020, 6 children were operated. We made 17 surgical procedures rebuilding smiles for children and their families!
-We are growing our team from 14 to 19 Doctors that are helping us with the new specialty Genetics and Nutrition.
-In 2020 we had an increase in the number of active patients in the different specialties, going from 158 in 2019 to 175 in 2020.
We are positive about 2021 and we know that with the great help we are receiving we can grow up more to give our children and their families more services and help.
